Julie Brown

Julie Ann Brown is an American actress, comedian, singer-songwriter, screenwriter and director best known for her iconic 1980s "valley girl" persona and sharp celebrity parodies. She carved out a unique space in pop culture by blending pop music with subversive sketch comedy and achieved massive cult success with novelty hits like "Homecoming Queen's Got a Gun" (a dark parody of mid-century teenage tragedy songs) and "'Cause I'm a Blond".

To avoid confusion with her contemporary British MTV counterpart, "Downtown Julie Brown," she was often referred to as "West Coast Julie Brown" or "Miss Julie Brown". In total, there are 77 recognized credits in film and television. On Cinestia you can browse Julie Brown's complete filmography — 42 films and 35 series — and find where to watch each title.
