Mohammed Ibrahim Baloch, better known by his professional name Mehul Kumar, was born in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. He is a celebrated Bollywood filmmaker, writer, and director, renowned for creating some of the industry's memorable hits. Among his most acclaimed works are "Marte Dam Tak" (1987), "Jung Baaz" (1989), the patriotic blockbuster "Tirangaa" (1993), the hard-hitting "Krantiveer" (1994), and "Mrityudaata" (1997).
Mehul Kumar's journey in cinema began not behind the camera, but with a pen. Beyond his professional achievements, Mehul Kumar is a dedicated family man. He runs Mehul Cinemax, a cinema in his hometown Jamnagar, under his production banner Mehul Entertainment. Filmmaking runs in his blood: his brother Hussain Bloch is also a film director, and the two have collaborated on several projects. His daughter Jahan starred as the lead in "Krantiveer: The Revolution," the sequel to his iconic film "Krantiveer." His son Zoheb has assisted him in direction, while his other daughter, Shameem Khan, has carved her own niche as a talented costume designer in the industry.
