CarregandoIn the science fiction film Algorithm, Evie is navigating life after a breakup, though she is rarely by herself. Like nearly everyone around her, she relies on an all-in-one smart system that doubles as a home manager, personal assistant and social media curator, anticipating her needs and desires. When her ex-girlfriend proposes giving their relationship another try, Evie feels torn and turns to the algorithm for guidance. Its counsel may not be impartial, however, since the system seems drawn to crafting a love story worth sharing.
