Private Peaceful

Set against the fields of Devon and the battlefields of Flanders during the First World War, Private Peaceful follows two brothers who fall for the same young woman while enduring the constraints of their feudal family life. As the war draws them in, both must confront the pressures it places on them, and the differing prices of courage and cowardice.
