Original title

龙游天下 follows newly enthroned Yulong, who leaves the palace incognito to search for his long-lost mother while trying to continue his father’s benevolent rule. In Qinghe County his party finds He Yaozu, son of Prefect He Zhengjie, exploiting his absent father’s authority for personal gain and running unchecked under the protection of a doting mother, with only He Zhengjie able to punish him. In Puqing County they encounter a woman accused of adultery and facing live burial, whose account centers on Wang Enlun, husband of prime minister’s daughter Tang Yao, who coldly rejected his earlier wife when she arrived with her family seeking refuge and left her exposed to Tang Yao’s cruelty.
