养父的花样年华

Original title

Lang Degui had a daughter out of wedlock, his own marriage fell through, and his mother passed away unexpectedly—truly, misfortunes never come singly. Originally, being a "single father" was already a hard life. Unexpectedly, trouble piled on trouble: a widow then left him with three children. One stay-at-home dad, four little ones—life became even harder. A single promise, thirty years of waiting—how deeply moving! The three children were abducted and trafficked, and his youngest daughter contracted an incurable disease. The unmarried father never abandoned them, devoted beyond blood ties, his sense of duty heavier than a mountain. A lover heartless, a widow tender-hearted, a beloved true-hearted—three women and one tough man, enacting the true, the good, and the beautiful alongside the false, the ugly, and the wicked in this world. Family bonds, romantic love, devoted love, friendship—sincere emotions that move people deeply; conscience, kindness, sincerity, goodwill—pure hearts that inspire people to strive forward. He Qun, the chief director of the series, said that this drama moves people with genuine emotion and can offer enlightenment—that people should treat one another sincerely. Kindness, love, selflessness, tolerance… no matter how many ups and downs one goes through, in the end, good people are rewarded.
