In the 1930s, a fool emerged in the eastern Sichuan region. Born into a wealthy family, the fool had no interest in studying from a young age, but loved eating, drinking, and having fun, as well as practicing martial arts and handling weapons. Under someone's guidance, the fool joined the Gowned Brothers. He robbed the rich to help the poor, always acting foolishly, and was deeply loved by his brothers. Later, unexpectedly, he killed Cui Yidong, a man who committed all kinds of evil and raped women, and became the leader. As the Gowned Brothers grew stronger, the Nationalist Party incorporated them, and the fool was appointed as a regiment commander, becoming part of the Nationalist army. The fool had his own foolish wisdom; he did foolish things, yet somehow stumbled into success, rising step by step, and within a few years became a division commander. When the War of Resistance Against Japan broke out, the fool's troops were to be sent to the front lines, but gambling was rampant in the army and could not be stopped despite repeated bans. What was to be done? The fool came up with another foolish idea...
