锁定美军特使

Original title

"Locking Down the American Special Envoy" tells the story of a special mission undertaken by the New Fourth Army and the Nationalist forces during the War of Resistance Against Japan. In order to be the first to rescue the Flying Tigers pilot who holds military secrets, Zheng Dayong leads the New Fourth Army in a race against the Nationalist rescue team commanded by Wang Jiangyi. Yet after enduring one hardship after another, the two forces—originally rivals—move from suspicion to trust, and from mutual rivalry to cooperation. "Locking Down the American Special Envoy" portrays an extraordinary era, a tragic and heroic battle, friendship amid gunfire, and love on the line between life and death. After receiving the order to rescue the Flying Tigers pilot, company commander Zheng Dayong leads the New Fourth Army rescue team into the most dangerous territory, while Nationalist officer Wang Jiangyi has also accepted the same mission. But because the American serviceman being rescued holds military secrets, Wang Jiangyi is determined to succeed before the New Fourth Army does. At first, these two forces burdened with a special mission suspect each other and compete at every turn. Yet faced with a common enemy—the Japanese invaders—their patriotism binds them into a band of brothers, facing death together. At the moment of crisis, Zheng Dayong and Wang Jiangyi heroically lay down their lives and complete the final mission. Gu Xiaoyu, just over twenty, is a medic with the New Fourth Army's southward detachment—beautiful, kind, reserved, easygoing by nature, yet soft on the outside and strong within. Thrust into duty in a time of crisis, she marches with Zheng Dayong's company and becomes its field medic. After Robert is rescued, she takes on the important task of caring for him. Faced with Robert's bold pursuit and confession, she feels gratitude in her heart, but the one she truly loves is Zheng Dayong. The extraordinary circumstances make it nearly impossible for her to have love. At the final moment, she is pushed onto the plane, only to watch helplessly as Zheng Dayong falls amid the artillery fire...
