终极任务

Original title

Xie Hu was the leader of a small anti-Japanese guerrilla unit active behind enemy lines during the War of Resistance. He led his men on numerous thrilling missions, striking fear into the enemy and making outstanding contributions to the victory in the War of Resistance. Tiezhu and Tian Juhua (played by Chen Zijie), the commander of a district detachment, shared an unforgettable romance. This love line, which runs through the entire plot, adds a warm touch to an anti-Japanese drama full of tension and twists. Tian Juhua, who forged a deep bond with Xie Hu in battle, fell in love with him over time. But Xie Hu, who had always been bent on avenging his former commander, found it hard to accept this sudden love. Well aware of the pain of loss, he rationally turned her down again and again. With their teammates' unremitting efforts to bring them together, the two finally tied the knot. But during one operation, a moment of carelessness leaked the secret of the mission, leading to Tian Juhua and her comrades being taken hostage by the enemy. To save his own wife would mean the pointless sacrifice of many comrades. As the unit's leader, Xie Hu was frantic with anxiety: on one side was his wife-to-be, on the other his battle-hardened comrades and soldiers. In the end, Xie Hu resolutely shot his own wife dead, and from that moment he sank into an emotional debt of love and vengeance from which he could not extricate himself.
