野火春风斗古城

Original title

In 1945, as the eight-year War of Resistance neared its end, the struggle between the opposing forces reached its most critical moment. Yang Xiaodong (played by Wang Yanan), a cadre of the Eighth Route Army, was assigned by the organization to infiltrate a county town controlled by the puppet army and rendezvous with underground Party members. However, the cunning Japanese invaders had set up surveillance and an inescapable trap, inflicting heavy losses on the underground organization. Yang Xiaodong carefully analyzed the situation and took a desperate risk by entering the Gao residence to investigate the truth about a traitor. The deranged Japanese secretly transported biological weapons into the ancient city; once these weapons were deployed, they would cause incalculable damage to the revolutionary forces. Yang and his adversary Tada engaged in a series of battles of wits and courage. In the process, many revolutionary comrades heroically sacrificed their lives, and the contest between good and evil reached a critical juncture. In the darkness before dawn, the gunshots of the decisive battle rang out... This film is adapted from a classic revolutionary novel.
