警中警

Original title

The story takes place in Lüjiang City. Ding Chao, acting on someone else's instructions, kidnapped Zhang Dayang, president of the Lidu Group, a construction giant in Lüjiang City. Ma Yunshan, deputy director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, commanded the criminal investigation team and successfully rescued the hostage, earning high praise from Deputy Secretary Chen of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission. Ding Chao died inexplicably in the hospital, which infuriated Chang Jian, deputy head of the criminal investigation detachment. He believed that Ding Chao's case was connected to the "Blue Plain Hero Case" in which three police officers had been killed three years earlier. In order to strengthen its ranks, the Municipal Public Security Bureau restructured its inspection brigade, and Chang Jian was transferred to serve as its captain. He could not accept this. He had once sworn that if he failed to solve the "Blue Plain Hero Case," he would have worn a police uniform in vain. Liang Yunpeng, director of the Public Security Bureau, ordered Chang Jian to take up the post, saying that Chang Jian, having come from the military, should understand that military orders are as immutable as a falling mountain. Chang Jian assumed office. The first public complaint case he handled after arriving at the inspection brigade involved Xiang Dongping, head of the police investigation section of the Jiangping Branch, intervening in the domestic dispute between Huang Jinding and his wife Shan Kehong. Xiang Dongping's father-in-law was Chang Jian's old superior, Deputy Secretary Chen of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission. While handling this case, Chang Jian clashed fiercely with his old comrade-in-arms, Municipal Bureau Deputy Director Ma Yunshan, who believed that Chang Jian was prejudiced against the Jiangping Branch. But what comforted him was that the bureau's Party committee supported him from beginning to end. The inspection team.
