杨光那些事

Original title

Divorced for many years, Yang Guang depends on his son Yang Xiaoguang for companionship. Because Yang Xiaoguang suffers from congenital heart disease, Yang Guang studies traditional Chinese medicine under his master Du Zhong and sees patients at the clinic. Yang Guang's fellow apprentice Du Fuling is married to Hong Mantang, and the narrow-minded Hong Mantang bears a grudge against Yang Guang, leaving his marriage to Du Fuling on the verge of divorce. Yang Guang works hard to bring the couple back together, not wanting Hong Mantang to misunderstand him. A wealthy woman, Zhang Na, enters Yang Guang's life, and Yang Guang tries every means to persuade the pregnant Zhang Na to keep her unborn child. Learning that Zhang Na has split from her husband over his infidelity, Yang Guang decides to help her stand up to her ex-husband Bai Jin. In the end, the conflict between Bai Jin and Zhang Na turns out to be a misunderstanding. When Hong Mantang learns that Du Fuling is pregnant, he suspects Yang Guang is the father of her child, sparking another enormous fallout with Yang Guang. Yang Guang's ex-wife Qi Meifeng returns from abroad and seeks to take Yang Xiaoguang away. Through his kindness and wisdom, Yang Guang reconciles both couples — Du Fuling and Hong Mantang, Zhang Na and Bai Jin — and finally gains a complete family of his own.
