红玫瑰黑玫瑰

Original title

The urban female business suspense drama *Red Rose, Black Rose* has recently begun airing in Guangzhou, Nanjing, and other cities. Liu Xiaoqing, a veteran of the entertainment industry for many years, plays Song Dachuan, the president of a private enterprise, portraying a powerful woman who has weathered many storms, handles matters with impeccable precision, and acts with decisive efficiency. Adapted from the novel *I Defend You* by emerging female writer Wang Xiaoying, the drama is set against the backdrop of modern urban women's careers in the business world, with Liu Xiaoqing, Wang Ji, Wang Yajie, and other established and emerging talented actors delivering a series of gripping "rose duels." As the saying goes, "three women make a drama." *Red Rose, Black Rose* places the family and romantic elements of a women's drama within the broader context of business warfare amid economic crisis, employing a painstaking investigative approach to unravel the twisted and bizarre story behind the collapse of a star private enterprise. In the drama, Liu Xiaoqing's character Song Dachuan devotes decades of painstaking effort, dominating both the business and political worlds, overcoming one ordeal after another to develop a small neighborhood factory into a star enterprise of Linjiang City. She sacrifices personal relationships, friendships, and even her private emotional life for the enterprise's survival and development, only to be betrayed in the end by her most trusted and capable assistant, and she herself breaks the law and is imprisoned. The striking parallels between the plot and her real-life experiences left Liu Xiaoqing deeply moved and aroused tremendous interest from the media. Wang Ji plays Wang Beidou, a university law professor and a renowned lawyer who upholds professional ethics and possesses a strong sense of justice and social responsibility, while also being an open-minded, attentive, and considerate mother. She adheres to her professional ethics and moral principles, refusing to compromise or yield to anyone. In the drama, the two film queens are both close friends and the respective biological and adoptive mothers of the same daughter, and their scenes together unfold like a contest between two masters.
