铁血淞沪

Original title

In 1931, the bloodshed and chaos of the Mukden Incident swept into Shanghai's glittering foreign concessions, where three young people from different families met. Of the two boys, one came from an ordinary Shanghai household, while the other was adopted by the principal of a Kuomintang military academy. Their younger sister was the beloved daughter of a powerful figure in the Qingbang underworld. The tides of the era cast them into the crucible of fate, subjecting their youth, love, ideals, and beliefs to severe trials. As the mystery of their origins is gradually revealed, a vast panorama of ordinary Shanghai life slowly unfolds before the eyes. When Japan's scheme to devour China comes to the surface, when cruel fate tears families and relationships apart, when terrifying shadows of espionage loom overhead and partisan strife sets factions against one another, on this helpless island of Shanghai, the three siblings also embark on completely different paths in life. In January 1932, in the stark cold of deep winter, the Japanese army finally launched its long-premeditated offensive against Shanghai. Countless spirited Shanghai citizens spontaneously joined this protracted war, standing in common cause with the 19th Route Army and striving tirelessly, composing a tragic and heroic song. The fates of the three young people become entangled here as well, moving together toward their end.
